We have had 30 to 40 people, sometimes more, every Wednesday morning. So posting on this blog has not been top priority. And we don’t do as much photography as we used to, mainly because of the extra admin load dealing with the consent forms, and general GDPR-related uncertainty.
As an added activity, we asked everybody to complete the BBC Loneliness Experiment survey, and to test the new Skype number for the podcast. It was impossible to count the successes, but it kept everybody busy.
Special thanks to volunteers James and Terence from Baringa via Benefacto – plus our regular volunteers Michael and Tom.
As usual, we were completely full (30 or more people). The highlight was the beginners word-processing workshop, featuring volunteers Lucy, Mark, Paul, Zaida and 1:1 CV help by Saleha — all from GFT Group via Benefacto.
Special thanks also to our regular volunteers Charlie, Derek, Michael and Tom.
Completely full in the large Meeting Room. The ICT Room was given over to a research team from Citizens Advice — eight people earned a £25 shopping voucher after helping the team with the usability of a new web form design.
Special thanks to our regular volunteers Charlie, Derek, Liz, Michael and Tom.
